A new gadget on my bathroom shelf

There is a new gadget on my bathroom shelf. I am using it for few weeks now and can't imagine how did I managed without it before.

Ta dah...

It is the Oral-B Triumph 4000 Toothbrush!

Days of ordinary brushing are left behind and I am embracing the new way of dental care. Teeth are my delicate topic of all times, due to I don't have the perfect white smile, like some people do. Anyway, while I am working towards the "perfect smile", this brush is a game changer for me.

It is a way too soon to give you a full review, so I will just share my first impressions and will tell you about the brush itself. You might find this post useful, if you are thinking to buy an electric toothbrush.

Oral-B Triumph powered by Braun 4000 Toothbrush is a high performance brush which has 4 different cleaning modes to choose from (daily clean, deep clean, sensitive and polish). According to Oral-B this toothbrush removes up to 99.7% of plaque in hard to reach areas in Deep Clean mode.

I am using mine in the Sensitive mode for now, to give myself and my gums chance to get used to the vibration and the new way of brushing. I had three brush heads in the box: Sensitive, Floss Action and 3D White. Sensitive head is nice and soft; my teeth feel squeaky clean and my gums aren't distressed. I plan to use Sensitive most of the time, Floss Action and 3D White once or twice a week.

My favourite feature in the brush is the professional timer. It signals with short beep sounds at 30-seconds intervals to move to the next quadrant of the mouth in the Sensitive mode and at 45-seconds in the Deep Clean mode. Oral-B recommends to brush for 2 minutes or 3 minutes in Deep Clean mode. As a beginner I think it is great thing to know when to move onto next area and when to stop brushing. I think I brush less, but more efficient than before with the electric brush.

My reservation goes to the charging length. First charge takes approximately 24 hours and according to the guide you will need to charge the brush for at least 40 minutes to be able to brush your teeth for 2 minutes. Battery indicator is useful feature on the brush and battery lasts for almost two weeks of brushing. So this brush can travel with you without charging for that long.

Overall Oral-B Triumph 4000 is aesthetically appealing, light and it feels comfortable in your hand. It is either too noisy, either quite electric toothbrush. I tend to use it when my son is awake, so he won't wake up because of the noise. He is a true boy in regards of any kind of technology and gets ecstatic whenever I use the brush.

Promise to post a full review after six month or so, to give you a wide picture on the brush along with my experience. At the moment a happy first impressions for me.
